For the villa’s main dining hall, often used for weddings and celebrations, Cameron Iona created a triptych of expansive abstracts. Layering wall filler, paint, and pencil, the artworks capture the textures of the surrounding landscapes.
Each panel invites guests to discover their own interpretation, echoing the richness of the scenery outside the villa’s walls and reflected by the windows surrounding the space.
The third piece is a minimal, calming work inspired by Villa Eldaca’s serene arches and airy architecture. Positioned in the foyer beside a large round table, the artwork subtly enhances the villa’s atmosphere of light and tranquility while maintaining its understated elegance.
Bespoke Art for Villa Eldaca, Naples
In 2025, artist Cameron Iona was commissioned to create three bespoke artworks for Villa Eldaca, a luxury wedding and events villa just outside Naples. Drawing inspiration from the villa’s arches, vineyards, and sweeping views of the Gulf of Naples, each piece was designed to complement the space and enhance the atmosphere of the villa.
The first artwork is a bold, abstract piece that greets guests as they enter. Its shapes reference details found throughout the villa - wine bottles, glasses, arches, and plant pots. Rendered in dark green and cream tones. Positioned in the entrance to the event space, the piece sets the tone for Villa Eldaca’s blend of tradition and contemporary design.
